solution overview in depth

The Timeware Primetime™ is scalable to any organization size, from a small organization with 50 employees to a large organization with thousands of employees. The same solution is applicable to all sizes of organizations.

At the same time, deployment methods may vary depending on client preferences. For this reason, Timeware offers multiple deployment options that fit every need, including:

Timeware Primetime enterprise deployment is best suited for organizations with multiple locations and over 200 employees to be managed. Self-Hosted means that the client will provide a server host where the Timeware Primetime backend database and servers software will be installed. In this case, the client opts to purchase all the hardware, software and services needed to fully implement the Timeware Primetime solution. Timeware will invoice the client 50% of the total cost up front, then the remaining balance will be invoiced at the completion of the implementation.

Since 1992, Timeware has been on the forefront of workforce management solution development. Its flagship product Timeware Primetime™, has set the standard for its industry. In 2002 we were the first company to develop the Bioscreen™ machine equipped with a touch screen, biometric fingerprint reader & RFID reader. The Bioscreen™ machine was the first in our industry with its advanced capabilities and where it serves as a wall mounted time clock and HR kiosk. We are first again in developing an enterprise class workforce management solution into a single machine that we call the Clock-In-A-Box™. We are driven by high tech engineering and innovation and we will continue to be first in developing our solutions with more functionality designed to limit labor cost and to provide easy to use, yet very powerful and effective workforce management.

While Timeware Primetime™ is well suited to serve large enterprises, the Clock-In-A-Box™ is designed to provide the same functionality yet for the smaller enterprise. As the name implies, the entire solution is packed into the box, or a single Bioscreen™ machine. The machine serves as the time clock, the HR kiosk and the system host where data is stored, business rules are kept, computation occurs, and reporting is managed. We at Timeware recognize that not every business requires an enterprise class workforce management solution. Designed for small businesses with 200 employees or less, Timeware’ s Clock-In-A-Box™ delivers everything you need to effectively manage your workforce. All the power and capability of Timeware Primetime™, our enterprise solution, is made available in the Clock-In-A-Box™.

Self Service User Interface

For over 26 years, Timeware has been on the forefront of workforce management solutions innovation. Throughout this time, we recognized that there is no “one size fits all” workforce management solution. Every client may have different needs and may require a special configuration. To satisfy client needs, we offer a variety of user interface options including:

Timeware Bioscreen Hardware Solution – very sophisticated time clock and HR kiosk machine. The Bioscreen is a very effective stand-alone user interface machine with secure authentication methods like biometric, RFID & photo Id. Timeware Primetime offers up to 4 different authentication policies that can be defined for a Bioscreen or a user. These policies work individually to provide full authentication. In other words, if any one policy is satisfied at the Bioscreen then the employee authentication is granted. Each authentication policy offers multiple options, where, all selected options must be satisfied to authenticate the employee at the Bioscreen. Each authentication policy can be made of one or more of the following options:

  • Badge Number
If selected, this option will require a badge number entry at the Bioscreen for authentication.
  • Fingerprint
If selected, this option will require a fingerprint biometric scan at the Bioscreen for authentication.
  • RFID
If selected, this option will require a RFID proximity card scan at the Bioscreen for authentication. Furthermore, a smart phone RFID app can also be used for access.
  • Photo
If selected, this option will require a photo to be taken at the Bioscreen for authentication.
  • Mobiid (Mobile ID)
If selected, this option will require a mobile smart phone authentication at the Bioscreen for authentication.
  •  Not Your Grandpa’s Timeclock – At the Bioscreen a user can execute functions like clock in & out choosing the appropriate job, viewing and responding to management messages, as well as many other industry specific functions. Furthermore, the Bioscreen can be used as an HR terminal where users may initiate leave requests, take leave for missed schedules, take partial day absences, reviewing timecard and leave balances, or completing a time sheet.
  •  PC Based Solutions – in cases where the client prefers to have their own hardware, all the Timeware Bioscreen functions are made available as a software package that loads into the client own PC based hardware.
  •  Cloud Based Solutions – in cases where the client prefers to use the Web or the Cloud, all the Timeware Bioscreen functions are made available as a software package that loads from the Web.
  •  Table or Smart Phone Solutions – in cases where the client prefers to use tablets or smart phones hardware, all the Timeware Bioscreen functions are made available as a software package that loads from the Web.
  •  3rd Party Time Clock Solutions – in cases where the client prefers to use a specific time clock hardware, Timeware provides the appropriate interface to the Timeware Primetime system.

Web Based Software

With a strong technology & engineering background, Timeware has been a true innovator in the development of a modern, state of the art workforce management solution, that is Timeware Primetime. From the ground up, Timeware Primetime is a truly distributed web based software. The system has the flexibility to be deployed anywhere. Depending on the client desires, Timeware Primetime can be deployed in various ways:

  •  Deploy on site where all servers and data remain within the client physical boundary and control. Yet, users may still access the system from the outside if desired. In such a deployment, time clocks and user interface devices, like the Bioscreen, remain as an integral part of the system within the client network.
  •  Deploy on the client Web where all servers and data are managed by the client and hosted by the client web servers. Yet, users may still access the system from the outside if desired. In such a deployment, time clocks and user interface devices, like the Bioscreen, remain as an integral part of the system within the client web.
  •  Deploy on the Cloud where all servers and data are managed in the Cloud. Users may access the system from anywhere. In such a deployment, time clocks and user interface devices, like the Bioscreen, remain as an integral part of the system within the Cloud.
